it's friday

This week has been the sort of week where all the days blend together, and kind of spit you out at the end. I feel like I have so much on my plate, but nothing gets done. I see things that I want to do, but can't seem to muster the motivation to accomplish anything. I'm distracted and scatter-brained. I know the problem and the solution. There is too much junk weighing me down, and I just need to go through and de-clutter everything. But that takes me back to the lack of motivation.
What do you do when you need to get things done, and you know you'll feel better once you do it, but you just can't seem to get started?

I usually have to force myself to just start *somewhere*. Usually it's the dishes that get me feeling this way. If i say "I can unload the dishwasher" and not worry about cleaning/doing anything else, then just unloading the dishwasher frees some of my mindweight and let's me move on to the next thing.

I've been having that problem all.week. More with clutter in my schedule than actual physical clutter. :-/ I'm hoping everything gets better after this weekend.
