this is why i love having a little girl in my home

I love my boys. I adore my boys. They are silly and wild and totally adorable. But I am so glad that I have a girl.
Not only because it means I'm not the only female among males, but also for these other fine reasons:
pretty dresses
sparkly shoes
hair to play with!
wake dreaming, as she called it
tiny painted fingers and toes
having a reason to hang pretty things up around the house
a dressed up kitty
Oh, yes. I love my girl!
